11/10/2009 - After a big Thanksgiving meal, there’s bound to be some leftovers. The Toledo Walleye want you to bring any Non-Perishable food items to the game on Friday, November 27th for our Post-Thanksgiving Day Food Drive. All food will be donated to the Toledo Seagate Food Bank, which distributes over 15 million pounds of food annually to over 500 organizational programs such as Food Pantries, Community Resource Centers, Churches, Soup Kitchens and more. So, hold on to that extra can of gravy or the extra box of stuffing and give it those who truly are in need. Collection bins will be stationed at all of the entrances.
