All-day hockey extravaganza on Saturday, Oct. 6!
9/7/2012 - Get ready for Walleye Opening Night with an entire day of hockey at the Huntington Center! The Saturday, October 6 hockey extravaganza starts at 10 a.m. and features youth games, an AHL exhibition between the Grand Rapids Griffins and the Lake Erie Monsters, the Walleye facing off against the Kalamazoo Wings, and more! Tickets are just $5. All proceeds to charity!
'Hockey Showdown in T-Town' schedule of events:
• 10 a.m. - Walleye practice - open to public
• 11 a.m.- 2002 Toledo Cherokee vs. 2002 BG Ice Cats
• 12:30 p.m. - Sylvania Bantam AA 98 vs. 1998 Suburban Stars
• 2 p.m.- 01 Team Toledo vs. 2001 Jackson Generals
• 3:30 p.m. - 98 Toledo Cherokee Bantam AA vs. Pittsburgh Renegades AAA
• 6 p.m.- AHL exhibition game - Grand Rapids Griffins vs. Lake Erie Monsters
• 9 p.m.- EHCL exhibition game - Toledo Walleye vs. Kalamazoo Wings
Tickets for the games on Saturday, October 6 are just $5. All tickets are general admission and include access to all of the day's events. 100% of the proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Walleye Wishing Well charitable fund.
