Walleye to wear special superhero jerseys!
10/29/2012 - Suit up in your favorite superhero swag on Saturday, November 10 for Superhero Night, presented by Hickory Farms! The Walleye will don special edition Captain America jerseys for their 7:05 p.m. game against Wheeling. The jerseys will be available for purchase in a live auction after the game, with proceeds to benefit Heroes in Action and the Wounded Warrior Project. Get tickets!
Superhero Night festivities:
- The real life heroes of the Toledo Fire Department and Toledo Police Department take the ice at 3 p.m. on for the second annual 'Battle of the Badges' game. Visit www.toledowalleye.com/policevsfire for details and a special offer on tickets
- Toledo Police officer and winner of the 'Glass House' television show, Kevin Braum, will be dropping a ceremonial first puck before the Walleye game
- Toledo Walleye will wear 'Captain America' jerseys during the game. The jerseys will be available for purchase in a postgame auction to be held in the Goal Zone. Jersey auction proceeds to benefit Heroes in Action and the Wounded Warrior Project
- Meet Captain America on the main concourse during the game! Head to section 108, and don't forget to bring your camera!
- Dress up as your favorite superhero! Prizes will be awarded throughout the game to the fans with the best costumes.
