Walleye to honor Toledo Blades: Saturday, 2/16!
2/8/2013 - Go back in time with the Walleye on Saturday, February 16, as the team will be wearing special edition Toledo Blades jerseys! The Blades played at the Toledo Sports Arena from 1963-1970.
Fans can take home a piece of hockey history by bidding on the game-worn jerseys in a live postgame auction, presented by the Toledo Blade. All auction winners will receive a jersey and a photo with the player. Proceeds from the auction will benefit several organizations working to fight hunger in northwest Ohio, including Cherry Street Mission, Mobile Meals of Toledo, Feed Lucas County Children & Fellowship Matters.
