2010-11 Season:Re-signed by Toledo as a free agent on July 14, 2010.
2009-10 Season:Signed by Toledo as a free agent on December 9...was playing for the Louisiana IceGators (SPHL)...played in 14 games with Louisiana, scoring seven goals with 11 assists and 29 penalty minutes...with the Walleye, Smith played in 47 games and collected 13 goals, 16 assists with 40 penalty minutes....had three two-goal games with Toledo and a season-high three assists on March 5 versus Trenton...Scooter played in three playoff games for Toledo against the Charlotte Checkers (1 g, 1 a).
