Pink in the Rink

The Toledo Walleye and ProMedica are teaming up in the fight against breast cancer by hosting a 3-game ‘Pink in the Rink’ weekend at the Huntington Center on Friday, February 26, Saturday, February 27, and Sunday, February 28. All three games will be played on fan-painted pink ice to raise money and promote breast cancer awareness. Information will be available at the 'Pink in the Rink' games on the screening, treatment, survivor, and prevention services provided by ProMedica Breast Care and ProMedica Cancer Institute, and Komen for the Cure of Northwest Ohio.

 

 

Friday, February 26 @ 7:15 p.m.

Saturday, February 27 @ 7:15 p.m.

  • Pink in the Rink Game #2, presented by ProMedica Breast Care, WCWA, WSPD & WIOT
  • Ice surface will be painted with fan messages
  • Buy tickets

The first 1,500 fans who enter the Huntington Center for the game on Saturday, February 27 will receive special 'Pink in the Rink' gloves, presented by Promedica!

Sunday, February 28 @ 5:15 p.m.

  • Pink in the Rink Game #3, presented by WCWA, WSPD & WIOT
  • Ice surface will be painted with fan messages
  • FREE postgame skate with the players, presented by Applebee's
  • Buy tickets

 

 

Paint the Ice

For the first time, fans will have the chance to paint special messages on the ice to help make the rink pink! The 'Paint the Ice' session will be held on Tuesday, February 23 between 4 and 8:30 p.m. 'Paint the Ice' packages are $35 and include:

  • 2 tickets to your choice of Walleye game on Feb, 26, 27 or 28
  • 4’ by 4’ square on the ice to paint
  • 2 giveaway items
  • Donation to Komen of NW Ohio
  • Additional game tickets are $14 each
