T-Shirt Contest
The Toledo Walleye would like to thank all area students who submitted artwork for the second annual 'Design a Walleye T-Shirt' contest. The field has been narrowed down to three high school finalists (Alan Martinez from Lake High School, Kelly Kraus from Notre Dame Academy, and Megan Rasp from Bowling Green High School) and three Elementary/Middle School finalists (Chloe Vogel from East Broadway Middle School, Laken Tegtmeier from Genoa Middle School, Kimi Shah from Notre Dame Junior Academy).
The initial submissions were narrowed down by Walleye staff members to three finalists per category. Licensed vendors have created artwork based on the concepts and designs submitted and fans are now asked to vote on their favorite designs.
The winning design will be printed on a T-shirt and be made available for purchase in the Swamp Shop! The Walleye will donate 20% of the proceeds made on the winning shirt through July to the winning student's school!
Vote for one design in the 'high school' category and one design in the 'elementary/middle school' category! Voting will end on January 24th, 2011. Winners will be announced in a special game ceremony which the date has not yet been determined.
