Celebrate Toledo Hockey Heritage Night: Sunday, January 20

Celebrate Toledo’s rich hockey tradition on Sunday, January 20, as we pay tribute to the fourth class of the Toledo Hockey Hall of Fame before the Walleye take on Fort Wayne at the Huntington Center. This is part of the exciting activities of the 2019 CCM/ECHL All-Star Weekend presented by ProMedica, January 18-21.   



The Toledo Walleye will hold a pregame ceremony to honor members of the fourth Toledo Hockey Hall of Fame.

  • John McGrath – Toledo Mercurys, Buckeyes
  • Maurice “Moe” Benoit – Toledo Blades
  • Mike Eruzione – Toledo Goaldiggers 
  • Chris McSorley – Toledo Goaldiggers, Storm
  • Greg Puhalski – Toledo Storm

Greg Puhalski, Chris McSorley and Mike Eruzione will be available for autographs during the game on the main concourse, free to anyone with a January 20 game ticket.



The Walleye will wear All-Star Weekend Commemorative jerseys on Sunday, January 20, and Toledo Walleye "Hooks" and "Fins" jerseys on Monday, January 21. All game worn jerseys will be raffled off. Look for the raffle table on the main concourse. Raffle tickets are $10 each or 3 for $20. Winning numbers will be selected live on the ice following the game. Proceeds will benefit the ProMedica Toledo Children's Hospital.

  • Sunday, January 20 – All-Star Weekend Commemorative jerseys. Commemorative “All-Star Weekend” game worn jerseys will be raffled off. Winners will be drawn in the 3rd Period of the game. Proceeds from the raffle to benefit ProMedica Toledo Children’s Hospital.
  • Monday, January 21 –  Toledo Walleye “Hooks” and “Fins” jerseys. The Walleye will make up two of the four teams competing at the All-Star Classic. Game worn jerseys will be autographed by the players and auctioned off during a live on ice auction immediately following the Saturday, February 2 Toledo Walleye game. Proceeds from the raffle to benefit ProMedica Toledo Children’s Hospital.

The 2019 CCM/ECHL All-Star Classic and Skills Competition will take place at the Huntington Center on Monday, January 21, 2019. The event will feature a 3-on-3 tournament with four teams competing for the top spot. Walleye players will make up two of the four teams (Hooks and Fins) and will face-off against two All-Star teams featuring players from the ECHL's Eastern and Western Conferences. The 2019 CCM/ECHL All-Star Skills Competition, presented by Charlie's and Grogan Towne's Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram, will take place during the intermission break between both the 1st and 2nd round and the 2nd and 3rd round.
