Defensemen Simon Denis and Nolan Zajac have agreed to terms with the Toledo Walleye for the 2016-17 season. Zajac has spent the last four seasons with the University of Denver posting 19 goals and 76 assists. Denis comes to the Walleye from Ferris State University where he appeared in 141 games with 15 goals and 45 assists.

Walleye announce qualifying offers for 2016-17 season

The Toledo Walleye announced its list of players that have received qualifying offers for the 2016-17 season. Goaltender Jeff Lerg along with defensemen Ralfs Freibergs, Spencer Humphries and Jacob MacDonald each received an offer. Forwards Tylor Spink, Tyson Spink, Kyle Bonis and Tyler Sikura were also qualified.
