A shorthanded goal by the Cyclones with 1:15 left in regulation negated a spirited comeback by the Walleye, who fall to Cincinnati 4-3 on Wednesday. The Walleye return home to the Huntington Center this Saturday for 'Star Wars Night'.

The Walleye broke a scoreless tie with two third period goals to ice a 2-0 win over the Nailers on Saturday. A sell-out crowd of 8,200 packed the Huntington Center to see Toledo improve to 2-0-1-0 on the young season. Goalie Mac Carruth was spectacular in his home debut, stopping all 30 Nailers shots on goal.
