Erasing a lead: For the first time this season, Toledo was able to comeback when trailing heading to the third period on Saturday night in Indy to win 4-3 in overtime. Goals from Mike Embach and Kyle Bonis in the third period tied the game and Bonis scored just 16 seconds into the overtime to complete the comeback. Toledo was 0-12-1-1 prior to the win.

Road run for the Walleye: A perfect four win road week stretched Toledo’s season best road winning streak to six straight games. The last time Toledo suffered a road loss was February 18, 4-3 at Quad City. The longest streak of consecutive road wins for a Walleye team is seven straight last reached October 15 through November 9, 2016.

Nagle keeps on going: Goaltender Pat Nagle went a perfect three for three over the week and has run his unbeaten in regulation streak to 17 consecutive games (15-0-1-1), which is the longest by a goaltender in Walleye history. The longest streak in Toledo ECHL history is held by David Goverde at 23 straight from December 30, 1995 through March 1, 1996.

Barnes and Bonis tearing it up: Tyler Barnes has taken the team lead in points for the Walleye at 49 points (19G, 30A). His six game point streak came to a close on Sunday in Cincinnati in which he had six goals and six assists. Kyle Bonis has picked up points in 11 of his last 12 contests with 18 total (9G, 9A). Bonis is the Walleye leader with 24 goals.

Back home for a pair: After another four in five last week, Toledo slows down with only a pair of games this weekend and both at home. Saturday night is the final meeting of the season between the Walleye and Brampton. Toledo is 5-1-0-0 against the Beast this year. Kalamazoo will come to Toledo on Sunday, Toledo is 4-1-0-0 against their long-time rivals.
