The Toledo Walleye and Playmaker Sports USA, LLC have partnered together for the 3rd annual Walleye Winterfest Youth Hockey Tournament! This premier Tier II youth hockey tournament will take place January 13 – 16, 2017 in Toledo, Ohio, as part of the celebration surrounding the annual Winterfest events.
Teams are guaranteed to play a minimum of four games. All championship games will be played at the Huntington Center in Downtown Toledo, home of the ECHL's Toledo Walleye.
The field is limited to 36 Squirt, Pee Wee and Bantam teams, so make sure you sign up early to reserve your spot in this exciting event!
The Walleye Winterfest Youth Hockey Tournament is open to Squirt ('06 and '07), PeeWee ('04 and '05) and Bantam ('02 and '03) teams. The 36-team tournament will include 6 teams in each age level.
4 game guarantee; maximum of 5 games
14 minute stop time periods
$1,250 per team
Walleye Winterfest Opening Night! Each participating team will receive 25 group tickets to the Friday, January 13 Toledo Walleye game. We will be celebrating the Youth Hockey tournament participants all night long by recognizing teams during an on-ice parade and during several team experience opportunities. All teams that sign up for the Winterfest Youth Hockey Tournament will be placed in a drawing with an opportunity to win the following team experiences:
- Anthem Skate Team of the Game
- Bench Recognition Team of the Game
- Youth Hockey Intermission Shootout
You won't want to miss the excitement of T-Town hockey and all of the great experiences for your team during our Opening Night Celebration.
