Toledo Walleye | Little Walleye Learn to Play Program

Learn hockey... and have fun doing it! Our Little Walleye Programs provide young fans with a fun and supportive introduction to skating and hockey at the Huntington Center. Whether children are learning the basics of skating through Learn to Skate or building hockey skills through Learn to Play, participants receive professional instruction, exclusive Walleye gear, and the opportunity to experience a Toledo Walleye game.

Program Timing

Learn to Skate (Beginner): 11:30 a.m. — 12:15 p.m.

Learn to Play (Intermediate): 12:15 p.m. — 1 p.m.

Little Walleye Learn to Skate

Little Walleye Learn to Skate introduces new individuals to the basics of skating in a structured and supportive manner taught by certified skating professionals. This program is open to kids ages 3-9. Please note that skates will not be provided.

This program includes:

5 ice sessions at the Huntington Center (45 minutes each)
Little Walleye Learn to Skate jersey
1 game ticket to the December 20 Walleye game

Little Walleye Learn to Play

Little Walleye Learn to Play is designed for players who have mastered basic skating skills and are ready to build on those fundamentals to enhance their hockey abilities. This program is open for kids ages 5-9. Please note that skates will not be provided.

This program includes:

5 ice sessions at the Huntington Center (45 minutes each)
Hockey helmet with Walleye decal
Little Walleye Learn to Play jersey
Hockey stick
1 game ticket to the December 20 Walleye game
