Alex Burton
Alex has been a Game Plan & Group Sales Consultant for the Toledo Mud Hens & Walleye for two years. He is a Head Coach for a local high school bowling team, and e is also involved in a local high school theatre department. Fun fact — he has bowled five 300’s and two 800’s!
Favorite Toledo Memory: I went to a Mud Hens game as a kid with my family and I remember running the bases with my brothers

Austin Rickard
Austin is Toledo born and raised, having gone to many Mud Hens and Storm games growing up. After graduating from BGSU, he returned to Toledo to work for his childhood teams. In his free time he loves to golf in the summer and play hockey in the cold months.
Favorite Toledo Memory: Throwing out the first pitch on his 8th birthday

Brittany Dey
In Brittany's free time, she loves to read and hang out with her cats. She is a fan of many different sports, but football and women’s basketball are definitely her favorites. She's originally from Bowling Green.
Favorite Toledo Memory: One of my favorite memories so far would be my very first Walleye Opening Night during the 2024–25 season — it was such an exciting and unforgettable experience!

Hunter is a dedicated sports management professional with four years of experience and a strong passion for serving the community through sports. Committed to excellence both on and off the field, Hunter brings enthusiasm, reliability, and a service-oriented mindset to his role. Outside of work, Hunter enjoys playing sports, spending quality time with family, and traveling the country with the goal of visiting every MLB ballpark.

Hunter Ward
Hunter played college football for five years, and he also played basketball in high school. He enjoys fishing and working out. His favorite sports teams are the Lions, Tigers, Red Wings, and the University of Michigan Wolverines.

Maddie Recker
Maddie is a Senior Sales Consultant heading into her fourth season with the Toledo Walleye. Since joining the organization in 2021, Maddie has held several roles across the ticket sales team, driven by her passion for creating unforgettable gameday experiences. When she's not at the ballpark or arena, you can find her spending time with her family, spoiling her corgi Oliver, and cheering on her favorite football and hockey teams.
Favorite Toledo Memory: 2024 Opening Night. Sharing that experience with coworkers who have become like family made it unforgettable, and the energy from the packed crowd at the Huntington Center was electric. It was the perfect introduction to the excitement and community that makes working here so special.

McCarty Simmons
McCarty has been with the organization since interning with the Hens as a Gameday Communication Intern in 2021. A huge sports fan, McCarty has been going to Hens, Storm / Walleye, Tigers, Red Wings, and Wolverine games as early as he can remember. When not watching sports, McCarty enjoys spending time with his church’s small group, reading, watching movies, and traveling.
Favorite Toledo Memory: Watching the Hens sweep a double header against Louisville on the first date with his wife.

Nick Turchiano
Nick is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio and then went on to play four years of football at Siena Heights University with a bachelor’s degree in sports management. He started working in the box office for his senior internship and then was promoted to a Game Plan & Group Sales Consultant. He has been in this role for two years now. In his free time, he enjoys watching football, cheering on the Cincinnati Bengals and Ohio State Buckeyes.
Favorite Toledo Memory: Watching the Walleye win the Western Conference Finals on home ice with a sold-out crowd

Nik Pruss
Nik was born and raised in Toledo and has always had a passion for sports including the Mud Hens and Walleye. Started with the organization in November of 2019 in the team store. Has been in this current position for 2 ½ years.
Favorite Toledo Memory: Kyle Bonis short handed OT goal in the 2015 playoffs

Owen Bailey
Owen has been a Game Plan & Group Sales Consultant for the Toledo Mud Hens & Walleye since April of 2024, but he has been with the Toledo Mud Hens and Walleye organization since 2021. Fun fact – he is a diehard Cleveland Browns, Detroit Red Wings, & Detroit Tigers fan!
Favorite Toledo Memory: Meeting the greatest athlete of all time, Joey Chestnut!

Ryan Ashley
When Ryan is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family & friends. Most of that time is spent outdoors (snowboarding, beach volleyball, hiking, etc.). When it comes to sports, he follows the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, Chicago Blackhawks, and Chicago Bulls.

Tony Garavaglia
Working in professional sports has always been a dream of Tony's. As a kid, you could find him at the local park in a pickup game or reading a box score. Favorite sports teams include the Detroit Tigers, Lions, Red Wings, and GO BLUE!
Favorite Toledo Memory: Considering I grew up in the Detroit area, I don’t have too many memories of the Mud Hens or Walleye. With that being said, it was really cool seeing the Detroit Mud Hens make a playoff push last season!
