Back to back 8,000: It has been an amazing year for the Walleye fans and they continued that with back to back crowds of 8,000 on both Saturday and Sunday. The two sellouts boosted Toledo’s season total to an outstanding 26 on the season with still two home games left in the regular season. For the season, 257,225 fans have come through the Huntington Center gates for an average of 7,565 which is 101.8% capacity.

Walleye equal best in home wins: Sunday’s win over Kalamazoo was the 27th home win for the Walleye equaling the 2015-16 team for the most home wins in Walleye history. Toledo leads the ECHL in home victories and has a shot with two home tilts left to catch the 2002-03 Storm team that won 29 games on home ice (the most in a single season in Toledo ECHL history).

Nagle keeps on going: Goaltender Pat Nagle collected his 34th win of the season on Sunday vs. Kalamazoo which is the most in the league. His 34 wins matches the Walleye record for most wins in a season that was set last year by Jake Paterson. In 1994-95, Nick Vitucci set the single season record for the most wins in Toledo ECHL history with 35.

2018 the year: Since January 1st, the Walleye have posted a record of 27-7-1-1. The Walleye went 8-3-0-1 in January, a 10-2-0-0 record in February and so far have marched to a 9-2-1-0 mark in March.

Nogard finishes out his ATO: Luke Nogard completed his ATO with the Walleye over the Walleye after appearing four games with one assist. The forward out of Nebraska-Omaha had 16 shots on goal over his four games in Toledo while finishing his tryout as a plus two.

Nailers and Cyclones on deck: Toledo gets back in action with two games this weekend starting Friday with a date with Wheeling. Toledo has gone 3-1-1 vs the Nailers this year. Saturday night, the Walleye will return to Cincinnati for the final meeting of the season between the two with Toledo holding a 5-2-0 record against the Cyclones.
