The Toledo Walleye will hold two School Education Days at the Huntington Center – on Wednesday, November 12, and Wednesday, December 3. This annual program provides a unique opportunity to use hockey as a backdrop to help students learn math, science, history, geography, and of course, see an exciting professional hockey game.

Wednesday, November 12 | 10:35 a.m.

Wednesday, December 3 | 10:35 a.m. (currently on a waitlist!)

All public and private high school, junior high and elementary students, educators, teachers’ aides, chaperones and bus drivers are invited. A record-breaking 13,000+ students and educators participated last season! Packages include discounted tickets, lunch vouchers, branded lunch boxes, free curriculum guides, and transportation grants.

Transportation Grant

The Toledo Community Foundation offers transportation grants to any area school attending the Walleye games.

Grants from Mud Hens-Walleye Transportation support transportation costs to attend a game in Toledo and can be used for:

• Transportation costs for accredited schools or nonprofit agencies wishing to attend a Toledo Walleye game
• Eligible agencies located in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan

Imagination Station

The hands-on science experts from the Imagination Station will join the Toledo Walleye on Wednesday, November 12, and Wednesday, December 3. The Imagination Station will host two on-ice science demonstrations during the first and second intermission.
