Congratulations to Toledo Walleye General Manager Neil Neukam, who has been named the co-recipient of the ECHL Executive of the Year award. Kudos also go out to the Toledo Walleye marketing staff, taking home Digital Content Team of the Year honors from the ECHL.
Neil Neukam was named Toledo Walleye General Manager in June of 2015, becoming the second GM in team history. This is the second consecutive season Neukam has received the ECHL Executive of the Year honor. “This is truly a team award,” says Neukam. “We have so many wonderful and talented people working in our front office.”
The Toledo Walleye took home the first ever ECHL Digital Content Team of the Year award. It’s given to the team that demonstrated great creativity, high levels of engagement, and strong sales results based on their digital content.
It’s been an amazing year for the Toledo Walleye organization! Highlights from the 2018-19 season include:

- New team single season attendance record (280,170)
- New team single season sell-out record (31)
