TOLEDO, OH – The Toledo Walleye have agreed to terms with forward Nick Nardecchia for the 2026-27 ECHL season, his second professional season and first in Toledo.
Nardecchia (nar-DEECH-ee-ah) was acquired from Wichita to complete the trade of defenseman Tanner Palocsik on March 9, 2026. The Macomb, Michigan, native posted 20 points (5G, 15A) and 36 penalty minutes in 71 games last season as a rookie for the Thunder.
Prior to turning pro, he skated four seasons as a Ferris St. Bulldog, accumulating 31 points (12G, 19A) and 88 penalty minutes over 127 games during his time in Big Rapids, Michigan. He also played parts of two seasons in both the NAHL (2018-20) and USHL (2019-21). He played in 45 games with Topeka of the NAHL, tallying 23 points (10G, 13A), 120 penalty minutes, and a +3. He appeared in 47 USHL games between Lincoln and Tri-City, collecting 13 points (5G, 8A) and 51 penalty minutes in 47 games.
